Give Me Plants

Give me plants and flowers any day over dealing with people.

The world has changed. People are more stressed. People are meaner. People do not give enough grace anymore.

Grace has literally had the door slammed in its face.

Smiles are out the door.

Kindness is long forgotten.

It’s a me world.

Give me plants. They don’t yell at you. They don’t try to kill you. They don’t lie to you.

They just sit there in all their fabulous glory giving peace to your soul with their colorful blooms, swaying in the West Texas winds as if they have their own song they are dancing too.

They don’t know emotions like we do. Yet, they have personalities across the expanse of where they bloom of grace and kindness.

Yes, give me plants over people.
